TURKSTAT says annual inflation is 19.58 percent with 1.25 percent increase in September
TURKSTAT (Turkish Statistics Institute / TUIK) has announced the inflation rate for September. According to TURKSTAT, inflation increased by 1.25 percent in September to 19.58 per year.
In September 2021, inflation was recorded as 1.25 percent as compared to the previous month, 13.04 percent compared to December of the previous year, 19.58 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and 16.42 percent based on twelve-month averages, according to TURKSTAT.
Many experts (and citizens for certain) have the opinion these figures officially announced by TUIK do not reflect the real inflation prevailing in the market, however.
