Ukrainian delegation: Putin-Zelenskiy meeting will most likely be in Ankara or Istanbul

The head of the Ukrainian negotiating delegation, David Arakhamia, said that the meeting of Russian president Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodimir Zelenskiy would most likely take place in Turkey.

Arakhamia’s statements read as follows: “The date and place of the meeting of Zelenskiy and Putin is not yet clear. Most likely, it will be in Istanbul or Ankara.”

Arakhamia also added that the draft document prepared for the peace treaty had been sufficiently improved.

The Russian and Ukrainian delegations had met face-to-face in Istanbul on March 29.
