US dollar TL rate breaks all-time record and exceeds 23.14

Economy in Turkey: Exchange rate continues to climb upward. US Dollar / TL= 24.22 at this very moment (11.37 Turkish time)

With the completion of the elections, markets saw a fast upward movement in dollar TL value this morning, breaking the all-time record with 23.14.

With the completion of the election process, the mobility of the dollar exchange rate, which accelerated its rise, reached its peak this morning.

The dollar exchange rate, which showed an increase of 7 percent compared to the previous close, broke the all-time record by seeing above 23.14. The dollar was below 20 lira before the election. The dollar/TL was at 19.58 before the May 14 elections and at 19.97 before the May 28 elections.

The euro also continues to rise against the TL. The euro/TL exchange rate was seen at the level of 24.65.
