US Embassy warns against terror attack against US and foreign citizens in Turkey

“The US Representative Office has received credible reports of potential terrorist attacks and kidnappings against US citizens and foreign nationals in Istanbul, including the US Consulate General, ” the US Embassy in Turkey said in a message posted on its website. U.S. citizens should be careful where Americans or foreigners may gather, including office buildings or shopping centers,” the statement said.
