“March” break to the spring weather: Snow is coming to Ankara tomorrow. The temperature above the seasonal normal which has been going on for some time, is coming to an end. Starting from the western parts, the temperature will decrease significantly. Sleet and snow are expected in the inland parts of the country tomorrow. The temperature will also drop by 8 to 15 degrees.

The temperature will suddenly decrease. Turkey will enter into the influence of cold and rainy weather. Heavy rainfall will be seen in the western regions today. Wet weather will affect the entire country tomorrow, except for the west coast.

Sleet and snow are expected in southeastern Anatolia and inland regions except coastal areas.

STORM EXPECTED IN EARTHQUAKE ZONE

There is also a strong wind and storm forecast in the provinces in the earthquake zone for tomorrow. Strong winds and storms are expected to be even more effective, especially in Hatay.

TEMPERATURE TO DROP BY 8 TO 15 DEGREES

The temperature, which is above the seasonal norm, will drop by 8 to 15 degrees this week. The cold and rainy weather will continue to affect until the end of the week.

SNOW COMING TO ANKARA TOMORROW

Residents of the capital who woke up with fog into the new week are waiting for thunderstorms today. The snowfall that will be seen tomorrow will be more effective, especially in high areas. The temperature in Ankara will drop to 3 degrees tomorrow and 5 degrees below zero on Thursday morning.

ISTANBUL WILL BE RAINY FOR 2 DAYS

Istanbulites started the new week with a hot weather that reached 18 degrees. However, rain is expected for two days. Tomorrow the temperature will drop to 9 degrees.

In Izmir, heavy rainfall is expected only today, especially in the inland areas. The temperature, which was 22 degrees at the beginning of the week, will drop to 14 degrees in the middle of the week.

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is predicted that our country will be partly cloudy and cloudy, Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Western and Central Black Sea, western Eastern Anatolia and Giresun, Trabzon, Bayburt, Gümüşhane, Adiyaman, Gaziantep and Kilis with intermittent rain and showers, thunderstorms in places, sleet and snow in the interior after the evening.

Precipitation is expected to be strong in the south and east of Marmara, Aegean, Western Mediterranean, Central Black Sea coasts, north and east of Adana, Osmaniye, Hatay, Kahramanmaras, Eskişehir, north and west of Ankara, Düzce, Zonguldak, Bolu, Karabük, Kırşehir, Nevşehir, Sivas and Tokat regions. There is a risk of avalanche danger in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the inclined and high parts of Eastern Anatolia.

AIR TEMPERATURES DECREASING

Temperatures are expected to decrease significantly in the inner and western parts, increase in the eastern parts, usually around seasonal norms, and in some places above seasonal norms in the northeastern parts.
