Warning from meteorology: Torrential rains are coming!

According to the forecasts published by the General Directorate of Meteorology, a significant part of the country will be under the influence of a new rainy weather. Many cities, including Istanbul, will see torrential rains.

According to the weather forecast Meteorology the northern part of country and the interior of the Mediterranean will be cloudy. The inner segments of the Black Sea in the West, Middle and eastern Black Sea coast, Kusadasi, Istanbul, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Yalova circles and Sinop (Turkey, Balıkesir, north of Düzce, Kastamonu, will see precipitation.

It is expected that the Taurus part of the Western Mediterranean Sea will be covered with showers and thunderstorms, while other places will be slightly cloudy and clear.

SEASON CONTINUES WITH TEMPERATURES ABOVE NORMAL

According to the forecasts received from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the air temperature will hover around the seasonal norms in the northern parts of the country and 3 to 5 degrees above the seasonal norms in other places.

The wind will blow from the west and southwest directions, usually in the north and northeast, along the Mediterranean coast and southeast parts, occasionally with moderate strength, and strong (30-50 km/h) in the west of Marmara and the Northern Aegean coast. In some provinces, the expected weather conditions and the highest temperatures of the day are as follows:

Ankara: Partly cloudy and slightly cloudy, after noon, the northern parts are very cloudy in places 34

Istanbul: Partly cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms locally at noon 31

Izmir: Cloudy and clear at 35

Bursa: Partly cloudy 32

Adana: Less cloudy 36

Antalya: Slightly cloudy and clear, partly cloudy over time, with showers and thunderstorms after noon, including local areas in the east 32

Trabzon: Partly cloudy, intermittent and local showers with thunderstorms 28
