Weather in Turkey: Meteorology issues warning for Istanbul and many cities

Based on latest meteorology report, Turkey will experience following tough weather conditions in the coming days.

Marmara Region

– Istanbul: Partly cloudy with intermittent rain and showers expected. Rainfall may be heavy in some areas especially in the morning hours. Temperature: Between 9°C and 9°C.

Aegean Region

– Izmir: Partly cloudy with intermittent showers and thunderstorms expected. Heavy rainfall is expected in some areas especially in the early morning hours.Temperature: Between 15°C and 15°C.

– Mugla: Partly cloudy with intermittent showers and thunderstorms expected.

Mediterranean Region

– Antalya: Partly cloudy with intermittent showers and thunderstorms expected. Heavy rainfall is expected in some areas especially around noon. Temperature: Between 18°C and 18°C.

Central Anatolia

– Ankara: Partly cloudy with rain and showers expected in the afternoon.

Western Black Sea Region

– Expect rainy weather in general with sleet and snow in the inner and higher parts of the region.

Central and Eastern Black Sea Region

– Expect rainy weather in general with sleet and snow in the inner and higher parts of the region. Avalanche danger exists in steep slopes with snow cover.

Eastern Anatolia

– Expect rainy weather in general with sleet and snow in the northern and eastern parts of the region. Freezing rain and frost are expected in the northern and eastern parts of the region. Avalanche danger exists in steep slopes with snow cover.

Southeastern Anatolia

– Expect rainy weather in general.
