Weather in Turkey: Temperatures will increase by 10 degrees again

AFRICAN HEAT IN TURKEY

It is reported that the heat wave affecting Turkey will continue until the end of the week, and temperatures will be 6 to 10 degrees above seasonal norms except for the Marmara and coastal Aegean

The high temperatures felt throughout Turkey are returning… Meteorology Weather Forecasters made assessments on the air temperatures to be seen throughout the country.

Experts stated the following: “Turkey has come under the influence of a heat wave. With the exception of Marmara and coastal Aegean, temperatures will continue to be between 6 and 10 degrees above seasonal norms in the entire country, and temperatures will be effective until the end of the week. Precipitation is not expected throughout Turkey, but on Tuesday, occasional showers can be seen in the coastal parts of Thrace facing the Black Sea, and as of Thursday, only in the coastal parts of the Eastern Black Sea.”

TEMPERATURES IN SOME CITIES

Experts also said: “Temperatures will hover around seasonal norms in Istanbul and Izmir, 8-10 degrees above seasonal norms in Ankara. The highest temperature in Istanbul for the next 5 days is around 30 degrees. The highest temperature in Izmir is 32-33 degrees. In Ankara, we expect a temperature of 39-40 degrees in the coming days.”

“There was a little cooling off on the Mediterranean coast. Temperatures are around 32-34 degrees in the Western Mediterranean and 34-36 degrees in the Eastern Mediterranean. The temperature on the Aegean coast is 30-32, while there are temperatures between 29-32 degrees around the seasonal norm in Marmara. There are usually temperatures between 30-34 degrees  in the Black Sea.”
