How much is the dollar today and prospects of further moves in exchange rate

The dollar is observed to be trading at $13.79 as of Monday January 10, 2022 (13:00 hr).  While the inflation data announced domestically on Monday last week were above expectations, pricing in the dollar declined to levels of 12.75 after the inflation data. The rest of the week was dominated by upward trends. During the week, the dollar failed to maintain its permanence above the levels of 13.94.

As we start the new week, the markets will follow the “Unemployment Rate” data that will be announced the first trading day of the week. Along with the data, the volatility of TL assets will increase. Looking at the week as a whole, the “Current Account” data that will be announced again tomorrow is among the economic data that will be monitored regarding the TL movement. When we look at the dollar index, there is no economic data flow that could affect the markets hard, today.
