Big increase in number of Covid-19 cases seen in Istanbul

Weekly case numbers were announced by province. According to concerned data, the number of Covid-19 cases for every 100 thousand people in the period December 25-31, 2021 was 663.69 in Istanbul, 184.29 in Ankara and 323.30 in Izmir. The number of cases seen in 100 thousand people in Istanbul had been recorded as 303.51 on the map covering the week of December 18-24.

The Minister of Health shared the map where the number of Covid-19 cases seen in every 100 thousand people according to the provinces on December 25-31 was updated. According to the map, the number of cases seen in 100 thousand people in Istanbul was 663.69, 184.29 in Ankara and 323.30 in Izmir.

In the weekly number of cases map covering the dates of December 18-24, the number of cases per province in Istanbul was 303.51 for 100 thousand people. In recent data, a large increase in Istanbul attracted attention.
