The Turkish State Meteorological Service has issued warnings for rain and strong winds in certain areas, while others are in for a dry, hot summer day.
Marmara: Cloudy in the East, Windy in the South
In Marmara, most areas will enjoy partly to mostly cloudy skies. But Sakarya is expected to see local showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. The southern part of the region, especially around Balıkesir, will experience strong northerly winds reaching speeds of 30–50 km/h. İstanbul will stay dry with partly cloudy skies and a high of 30°C, while Edirne and Kırklareli will be a bit warmer and mostly dry.
Aegean: Clear Skies and a Northern Breeze
The Aegean region is set for another dry, sunny day—but not without a breeze. The northern Aegean coast, including areas like İzmir and Manisa, will see strong winds coming in from the north. Despite that, it’ll be hot and sunny. Temperatures will reach around 35°C in İzmir and 37°C in Manisa.
In Muğla, the skies will stay clear and bright, and you can expect a high around 36°C. While the wind won’t be as intense as in the north, the inland heat will be noticeable, especially during midday hours. Perfect weather for a beach day, but definitely sunscreen-worthy.
Mediterranean: Hot, Sunny, and Classic Summer
The Mediterranean coast continues its streak of classic July weather. Most of the region will be under clear skies with little to no cloud cover.
Antalya is looking at a high of 31°C with plenty of sun and calm weather. A great day for the beach or a stroll along the marina. Meanwhile, Adana, Hatay, and Isparta will see slightly hotter conditions, especially inland, with highs reaching up to 36°C.
