Weather warning for 11 provinces from Turkish State Meteorological Service

The Turkish State Meteorological Service (TSMS) has issued a yellow warning for 11 provinces.

The TSMS has issued a yellow warning for the provinces of Artvin, Bitlis, Hakkari, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Rize, Siirt, Van, Batman, Şırnak, and Osmaniye.

In Artvin, Bitlis, Hakkari, Rize, and Van, snow is expected; in Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, and Osmaniye, there is a forecast for thunderstorm showers; in Batman, rain is expected; and in Siirt and Şırnak, both rain and snow are anticipated.

The meteorological authority has urged residents in these regions to be cautious about potential adverse conditions such as floods, waterlogging, transportation disruptions, icing and freezing in areas with snowfall, avalanche risk in snow-covered high and steep slopes, and snowfall in the form of a blizzard, along with strong winds.
