Weekly Covid-19 data: Deaths more than double last week

During July 25-August 1, 406 thousand 322 people tested positive for Covid-19 in Turkey and 337 people lost their lives.

The average number of cases per day in the epidemic was 58,046, while the daily loss of life increased by 114 percent compared to the previous week.

Thus, a total of 16 million 295 thousand 817 cases have been officially identified in Turkey to date. The total number of deaths has been 99,678.

Between 18 and 24 July, 365,424 cases of Covid-19 were recorded, 157 people lost their lives.
