What is Turkey’s most significant issue? Here’s how one survey explains it

Turkey has been grappling with major issues for a long time. A significant portion of the population is unhappy and, even worse, hopeless. So what are these issues, and which is seen as the most critical?

ASAL Research conducted a survey with 2,000 participants across 26 provinces between October 10-14, asking, “What is Turkey’s most important issue?” According to the survey, 60% of the population believes that the economy is Turkey’s most pressing problem.

The second most cited issue is “injustice,” followed by “refugees” in third place.
