White House Unveils Trump’s Gaza Peace Plan
The White House has announced the details of President Donald Trump’s new plan for Gaza. The announcement followed Trump’s meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, and it aims to create a political horizon where Israelis and Palestinians can live together peacefully and prosperously.
A New Vision for Gaza
According to the plan, Gaza is envisioned as a region free of terrorism, extremism, and threats to its neighbors. Israel will not occupy or permanently annex Gaza. Instead, an international dialogue will be established, supported by Arab and global partners, to guarantee stability.
One of the most critical elements of the plan is the exchange of hostages and remains. Within 72 hours of Israel’s official acceptance of the deal, all living and deceased hostages will be returned. For every Israeli hostage’s body returned, Israel will release 15 deceased Gazan bodies to their families.
Amnesty, Security, and Humanitarian Support
The plan also offers amnesty to Hamas members who pledge peaceful coexistence and surrender their weapons. Those wishing to leave Gaza will be granted safe passage to other countries. Meanwhile, a temporary international stabilization force will be deployed to Gaza, coordinated by the United States and its allies.
Humanitarian aid and supplies will enter Gaza exclusively through the United Nations, its agencies, and the Red Crescent, without interference from either side. To help rebuild the region, a Trump economic development initiative will launch, ensuring that no one will be forced to leave Gaza and that those who wish to return may do so.
A Roadmap Toward Peace
The official map of the plan outlines three phases of Israeli military withdrawal, marked by blue, yellow, and red lines, with the final zone designated as a secure area for Israel. Trump himself is expected to oversee the transitional administration.
If both sides accept the proposal, the war will end immediately. Following the release of all hostages, Israel will free 250 prisoners serving life sentences and 1,700 detainees arrested in Gaza since October 7, 2023. With this agreement in place, full-scale humanitarian aid will begin flowing into Gaza without delay.
