Whole world focused on Putin’s statement about “front over Belarus” claims

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko in the country’s capital Minsk. Using the expression “Belarus is literally an ally for us” Putin made some very important statements. On the other hand, there was also an explanation for the claims that Russia would involve the Belarusian army in its military operations in Ukraine.
The whole world turned eyes on Putin’s statement! There was a response to the ‘front over Belarus’ claims, as well.
Meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, “Belarus is not only a country with which we have had good cooperation in recent years, it is literally our ally.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin paid a visit to Belarus. Meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko in the capital Minsk, Putin touched upon the economic and strategic relations between the two countries.
Speaking at the meeting, which also included Russian and Belarusian delegations, Putin said, “I said to the President (Aleksandr Lukashenko) that our trade volume would reach $ 40 billion during a meeting we had in 2016. This year, most likely, our trade volume will be at the limit of 40 billion dollars.”
Pointing out that they were carrying out joint work with Belarus in many fields, Putin said, “Recently, we have attached importance to security issues, cooperation in the international arena. In general, we are pleased with the progress of our relations in this direction. Today, with Lukashenko, we wanted to see the results of the work of the government and some departments, especially the economy. Belarus is not only a country with which we have had good cooperation in recent years, it is literally our ally.”
