Will there be a re-closure as cases increase? Minister makes statements regarding covid19

Stating that there has been a 40-fold increase in corona virus cases, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said, “There is no such situation as the opening of new intensive care units. There is no need for panic. Now we all know where to wear a mask, where to protect ourselves. There will be no re-shutdown and similar situations. We have a vaccine, we have medicine, we continue to take precautions.”

CASE INCREASE BY 40 TIMES

The Minister also shared following: “The increase in the number of cases is recorded as 40 times daily. The hospital load has increased by 3 times now. In that sense, we can say very comfortably that we do not have a serious hospital burden. We also see that these increases are not significant and serious in intensive care. We can safely say that the increase is not at the same rate.”
