Yellow Alert for 15 Provinces: Cold Weather and Snowfall Expected Nationwide

According to the forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), the weather across the country will be mostly cloudy, with intermittent rain and snow. The rain will affect the Marmara, Inner Aegean, Central and Eastern Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Black Sea, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, and Isparta regions.

The precipitation will mainly be rain in the coastal areas and snow in the interior highlands. In the Mediterranean, Southeastern Anatolia, and Eastern Black Sea coasts, heavy rainfall is expected until the evening. Snow is anticipated in other regions. Heavy rain and snow are expected in parts of the Eastern Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia, Kırklareli, Adana, Hatay, Muş (west), Ardahan, Kars, and Erzurum.

CENTRAL and EASTERN BLACK SEA: Mostly cloudy, with intermittent rain and mixed snow and rain, and snow at higher elevations. Heavy rain is expected in parts of the Eastern Black Sea. Ice and frost are also expected, and there is a risk of avalanches in the highlands.
