Zelenskiy: Ukraine is ready for grain shipment

“We are waiting for signals from the UN and Turkey for the shipment,” Ukrainian President Zelenskiy said, noting that his country was ready to ship grain.

Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenskyy visited the Port of Chernomorsk, where the shipment of wheat will begin, conducted inspections of preparations.

Zelenskiy said that Ukraine was ready to ship grain and they were waiting for signals from Turkey and the United Nations (UN) to start, in front of a wheat-laden ship with a Turkish flag hanging behind him.

An agreement was signed between Turkey, Ukraine, Russia and the United Nations in Istanbul last week, to open the grain corridor.
