Saudi Foreign Minister says those involved in Khashoggi murder will be tried in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Adil al-Cubeyr said that those involved in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi will be tried in Saudi Arabia.

Speaking at the Middle East forum in Manama, the capital of Bahrain, Adil al-Cubeyr answered questions about the murder of Saudi journalist. Cubeyr said, “The murder of Jamal Khashoggi has turned into hysteria. The investigation is being carried out and the facts will emerge. Saudi law enforcement authorities continue to work with their counterparts in Turkey”.

Regarding the proposal that 18 people alleged to be involved in the murder of Jamal Khashoggi should be delivered to Turkey Cubeyr said, “Those involved in the case will be tried in Saudi Arabia”.

Saudi Foreign Minister Cübeyr, about the future of relations between Turkey and Saudi Arabia is “Turkey is a friendly country and it’s a good investment and trade relations between us.” he said.
