Balloon Operators note that all measures against coronavirus are taken during and before flights. Tourists riding in the balloons are allowed on board after their temperatures are measured and social distance is maintained by using less capacity etc.

They also say, “The Cappadocia region is very safe for those who want to fly with hot air balloons. Flights with hot air balloons in Europe had started from Spain in May. The Netherlands had started in July as well. Cappadocia is the region where the most passengers are flown by hot air balloons in the world. The flights began after the Directorate General of Civil Aviation reported their assessments and measures to the companies. After 159 days, nearly 30 balloons took flight in the area. With demand continuing, we expect flights to continue in the coming period.”
