The “Common Policies Memorandum of Understanding” of the Six-Party Table consisting of the CHP, the GOOD Party, the DEVA Party, the Future Party, the Felicity Party and the Democratic Party was announced today. Among the election promises, here are the highlights which include more than 2 thousand regulations, in 9 titles…

The “Common Policies Consensus Text” of the six-party table was introduced at the meeting held in ATP Congresium center and attended by CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Good Party leader Meral Aksener, chairman of the Democratic Party Chairman Gultekin Uysal, Temel Karamollaoglu chairman of the Saadet Party,  Ali Babacan leader of Deva Party and Future Party leader Ahmet Davutoglu.

The text of the covenant prepared by six deputy chairman of 6 parties covered 9 main topics such as “Law, Justice and the Judiciary, Public Administration”, anti-corruption, transparency and auditing, economy, finance and employment, Science, R & D, innovation, entrepreneurship and digital transformation, sectoral policies, education, social policy and foreign policy, defense, security and migration policy.”

The 12 titles included in the Common Policies Memorandum of Understanding, which includes more than 2 thousand regulations, and which are among the most talked about on social media, were as follows:

1) The residences and palaces (including BEŞTEPE Pallace) allocated to the Presidency will be opened for public use. Some planes belonging to the Presidency will be sold.

2) The electoral threshold will be reduced to 3 percent.

3) The revenues obtained from corruption and smuggled abroad will be brought to the country, and an Office for the Recovery of Assets will be established within this framework.

4) The Turkish Wealth Fund will be closed.

5) Deputy ministers will go, undersecretaries will come

6) Trustees appointed to local governments will go.

7) The finance office, human resources office and similar offices established within the Presidency will be closed.

8) The Central Bank, which is preparing to move to Istanbul, will return to Ankara with all its offices.

9) The Exchange Rate Protected Deposit system will be ended.

10) For Public-Private Cooperation projects where irregularities and corruption are detected, legal actions will be initiated against contractor companies, their partners and responsible persons who cause public damage, if any, and the resulting damages will be collected from those concerned.

11) Investigations will begin on the allegations of manipulation and corruption in the stock market.

12) The Council of Higher Education will be abolished, universities will choose their own management, their own faculty members will conduct the audit.
