Opposition leader KILICDAROGLU: Our presidential candidate will be announced on February 13

KILICDAROGLU was the guest of journalists on the Leader’s Table program of HALK TV. CHP Chairman Kemal KILICDAROGLU reported that the presidential candidate of the 6th Table would be announced on February 13, and the candidate would also explain the road map for the election. President Tayyip Erdogan, had pointed out that the election date would be May 14 in many statements he made. Kılıçdaroğlu explained how their reaction to the early election decision would be as six-party table (Nation’s Alliance, opposition bloc):

He said, “We thought we would support it if it could take place by April 6. We would respect the decision if the Parliament took  a decision for April 6 and the election would be held according to the old electoral law. All six leaders have publicly announced that they will not support it if Erdogan says, ‘No, I will do it later.” Erdogan wants elections to be held in an atmosphere he wants.
