Snow was transported by trucks to the Salt Lake, which is located on the migration route of flamingos and meets Turkey’s salt needs. The water level in the lake rose.

The Salt Lake on the borders of Aksaray, Ankara and Konya has the feature of a ‘closed lake’ because it has no water outlet. The lake, which meets a large proportion of Turkey’s salt needs, is on the migration path of many birds. Bird species, most of which are flamingos, stay in the lake in spring and summer.
