Alarm announcement from meteorology for 26 provinces: Heavy snow warning

According to the latest weather report of meteorology, it is predicted that the whole country will be rainy today. Thunderstorms are expected on the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, while snow is expected in the Taurus Region of the Mediterranean Sea, the inner and higher parts of the Western and Eastern Black Seas, and the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.

Meteorology has shared yellow code alert for 26 provinces. Accordingly, precipitation is expected in Taurus zone of Mediterranean, Tunceli, Bingöl, Muş, Siirt, Şırnak, Hakkari and in central and north circles of Diyarbakır and Batman, in eastern provinces of Elazığ in the form of snowfall with rain and heavy snowfall in higher altitude zones.

Temperatures are expected to be around seasonal norms in Marmara and the Aegean, and 2-4 degrees above seasonal norms in other places.
