The poll, conducted by New York Times/Siena College partnership, revealed the current situation between the presidential candidates of the Democratic and Republican parties. According to the national-level poll, 43% of the voters who participated stated that they would vote for Biden on November 5th, while 48% indicated they would vote for Trump.

Of those who voted for Biden in the 2020 presidential elections, 83% said they could support the same candidate for the second time in November, while 97% of those who voted for Trump in the same year said they would vote for him again.

47% of the participants in the poll stated that they definitely did not approve of Biden’s “conduct of office,” and one in every four participants believed that the country was heading in the wrong direction.

In a poll conducted last year with the same questions in collaboration with NYT and Sienna, Trump also emerged 2 points ahead of Biden among registered voters. However, in terms of Electoral College delegates, Biden had surpassed Trump by 2 points.

It was reported that 980 registered voters, randomly selected from both parties, participated in the national-level poll conducted from February 25th to 28th.
