According to TURKSTAT, unemployment fell to 10.3 percent

UNEMPLOYMENT IN TURKEY

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) announced the unemployment rate as 10.3 percent. According to the data of TURKSTAT, which stated that unemployment had decreased by 0.3 percent compared to the previous month, ‘broadly defined unemployment’ decreased by 2 points compared to the previous month and became 20.4 percent.

Last month, these rates were 10.9 and 22.4, respectively. Accordingly, the number of unemployed decreased by 136 thousand people compared to the previous month and became 3 million 541 thousand.

According to TURKSTAT data, the employment rate, seasonally adjusted, is at the level of 47.8 percent.

Seasonally adjusted labor force participation rate 53.2 percent,
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in the young population is 20.4 percent
The average weekly actual working time, adjusted for seasonal and calendar effects, is 44.5 hours
