Meteorology warns of heavy rain and flooding for five provinces

Istanbul, Kocaeli, Zonguldak, Düzce and Sakarya provinces were warned with the orange code. It was stated that as a result of heavy rains in these provinces, flooding, flooding and tornadoes may occur on the coasts.

The warning came from the General Directorate of Meteorology and the Ministry of Interior Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).

The General Directorate of Meteorology expects heavy rains to start at 03:00 on August 11 and end at 21:00.

The following warning came from AFAD: “As a result of heavy rains, flooding, flooding and tornadoes may occur on the coasts.”

In the statement, citizens were asked to be cautious.
