Alanya is promoting its tourism potential to an international audience at the WTM London Fair, showcasing its appeal under the Turkey stand alongside other world tourism professionals. The delegation from Alanya includes District Governor Fatih Ürkmezer, Alanya Municipality and ALTAV Chairman Osman Tarık Özçelik, ALTSO Chairman Eray Erdem, Alanya Municipality Consultant and ALTAV Vice Chairman Abdurrahman Açıkalın, and ALTID President Burhan Sili, along with a large team.

“We Want to Increase Alanya’s Share of the British Market”

The aim of Alanya’s presence at the fair is to strengthen its position in the UK market. Promotional activities are focused on deepening ties with British tourists, whose interest in Alanya has been growing each year. Representatives from Alanya, supported by ALTAV, are forming new partnerships with British travel agencies, aiming to make Alanya’s marketing activities in the UK more sustainable.

Alanya’s unique beaches, rich history, cultural heritage, and natural beauty were highlighted at the fair, strengthening its standing in international tourism. ALTAV President Osman Tarık Özçelik remarked that on the first day of WTM London, Alanya received substantial attention from the British market. Özçelik commented, “The UK has long been a vital market for Alanya tourism. We’re here to ensure our growth in this market remains sustainable. Seeing such strong interest in Alanya at the fair has been gratifying. Through direct interactions at the Turkey stand and meetings with travel agencies, we’re able to showcase Alanya’s natural, cultural, and sports-related attractions to British tourism professionals and potential visitors.”
