All Nippon Airways (ANA), one of Japan’s leading airlines will start direct flights to Istanbul
ANA, Japan’s largest 5-star airline, announced that it will add three new destinations to its 2024 winter schedule. The cities to which ANA will operate direct flights from Haneda Airport are Istanbul, Milan, and Stockholm.
The start dates for ANA’s new routes are as follows:
– Istanbul Airport: February 12, 2025
– Milan-Malpensa Airport (MXP): December 3, 2024
– Stockholm-Arlanda Airport (ARN): January 31, 2025
ANA President and CEO Shinichi Inoue made a statement about the new routes, saying, “With this expansion, we hope to create more options for our passengers, offer new customer experiences, and strengthen our commitment to a seamless and enjoyable journey. We are proud to include Paris and Munich in our daily flight schedule, and from August, we are also resuming our Vienna route. As we continue to develop our vision of ‘Connecting the World with Wonder,’ we eagerly anticipate witnessing our passengers’ experiences on these new routes.”
Istanbul flights will strengthen connections to the Middle East and Africa
ANA will operate its first scheduled flight between Haneda and Milan. Meanwhile, flights to Stockholm, which will become ANA’s 8th destination in Europe, will make it easier for passengers to reach Scandinavian countries. ANA’s route to Istanbul, a major transfer hub, will facilitate transitions to the Middle East and Africa. Flights between Haneda and Vienna will resume in August 2024.
