According to the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM), the weather forecast for July 20, 2024, indicates strong rain in the regions of Trabzon, Rize, Artvin, Erzurum, Kars, Ardahan, Iğdır, Ağrı, and the eastern parts of Giresun. Overall, temperatures across the country are expected to remain above normal.

– Edirne: 39°C, partly cloudy.
– Istanbul: 35°C, partly cloudy with short-term local showers in the east.
– Kocaeli: 35°C, partly cloudy with short-term local showers in the east.
AEGEAN: Clear skies, with partly cloudy conditions in the inland areas.
– IZMIR: 39°C, clear skies.
– MUĞLA: Clear skies. 37°C – 23°C
MEDITERRANEAN: Clear skies, with partly cloudy conditions in the inland areas of the eastern region.
– ANTALYA: 42°C, clear skies.
Central Anatolia: Partly cloudy.
– Ankara: 35°C, partly cloudy.
Western Black Sea: Partly cloudy, becoming more cloudy inland with local thunderstorms expected in the afternoon.
Central and Eastern Black Sea: Partly to mostly cloudy, with local thunderstorms expected in Eastern Black Sea and the areas of Ordu, Tokat, and eastern and central Samsun. Strong rain is expected in Trabzon, Rize, Artvin, and the eastern parts of Giresun.
Eastern Anatolia: Partly cloudy, with mostly cloudy conditions in the northern and eastern parts. Local thunderstorms expected in the north and around Van. Strong rain is expected in Erzurum, Kars, Ardahan, Ağrı, and Iğdır.
