Animal rights organization PETA: Meat-eating men should be banned from having sex

Animal rights organization PETA has called for meat-eating men to be banned from having sex, while stating that meat-eating men are causing serious damage to the planet and that this is ‘part of their toxic masculinity’.

The animal rights organization PETA, which has also staged demonstrations earlier (such as naked protests), has become the agenda with its statement that meat-eating men should be banned from having sex.

In a statement, the non-profit organization used statements such as “consuming foods such as sausages and schnitzel is a result of toxic masculinity and is killing our world.”

PETA Germany cited research in the journal Plos One that found that men were responsible for 41 percent more greenhouse gas emissions than women, mainly due to higher meat consumption. The animal rights organization called on women to “go on a sex strike to save the world,” while demanding a “ban on sex for all men who eat meat.”
