Antalya Airport’s annual passenger capacity increased to 82 million

The expanded terminal building at Antalya Airport, operated by Fraport-TAV, will open on April 11. With the new terminal, the annual passenger capacity of the airport has been increased from 35 million to 82 million.
With the expansion project, the existing International Terminal (Terminal 2) has been expanded from 93,000 square meters to 223,000 square meters, and the Domestic Terminal has been expanded from 37,000 square meters to 75,000 square meters. As a result of these expansions, the total terminal area at the airport has increased from 191,000 square meters to 330,000 square meters.
Additionally, the apron has been expanded over an area of 1,214,016 square meters, and taxiway improvements have been made over an area of 167,000 square meters. The number of aircraft parking positions has increased from 108 to 176.
VIP and CIP terminals have been renovated, and a new state guesthouse has been built over a total area of 6,000 square meters.
