Weather in Turkey on February 18, 2025: Temperatures to Drop, Yellow Code Warning for 7 Provinces

According to the forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology, it is expected to be very cloudy across the country. Rain is forecasted for Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Black Sea, Western Eastern Anatolia, as well as areas around Erzurum, Ardahan, Muş, Bingöl, and the northern parts of Diyarbakır and Adıyaman. In coastal areas, rain is expected, while snow will occur in inland regions.

The rain will be locally strong in Central Black Sea, and areas like Yozgat, Sivas, Trabzon, and Giresun. Winds in the northern regions of the Western Black Sea are expected to be strong (40-60 km/h). Here are the weather forecasts for February 18, 2025:

MARMARA Very cloudy, intermittent rain and showers throughout the region, with mixed rain and snow in high areas. Mist and fog are expected in the eastern parts.

• EDİRNE: 6°C, very cloudy, intermittent rain, mixed rain, and snow at high altitudes.
• ISTANBUL: 8°C, very cloudy, intermittent rain and showers until noon. Temperatures will drop, and snow will start to affect the city.
  

AEGEAN Partly cloudy and very cloudy, intermittent rain across the region, with rain and showers along the coast, and mixed rain and snow in the inland highlands. Fog, mist, and frost are expected in the inland areas.

MUĞLA: 11°C, partly cloudy with light rain showers.

MEDITERRANEAN Partly cloudy with occasional very cloudy periods, intermittent rain showers throughout the region. Inland areas may experience fog and mist.

ADANA: 17°C, partly and very cloudy, intermittent rain showers.
ANTALYA: 15°C, partly and very cloudy, intermittent rain showers.

CENTRAL ANATOLIA Partly cloudy and very cloudy, intermittent rain and mixed rain and snow across the region. Snowfall is expected in the highlands. Strong rain is expected in Yozgat and Sivas. Frost and mist are expected, particularly in the night and morning hours.

• ANKARA: 8°C, very cloudy, intermittent rain and mixed rain and snow, snow in high areas.

WESTERN BLACK SEA Very cloudy, with intermittent rain across the region. Coastal areas will experience rain and showers, and inland areas will see mixed rain and snow. Frost, mist, and fog are expected in inland regions.

CENTRAL and EASTERN BLACK SEA Partly cloudy and very cloudy, the region is expected to be rainy. Coastal areas will see rain and showers.

EASTERN ANATOLIA
Partly cloudy and very cloudy, with mixed rain and snow expected in the west, as well as around Erzurum, Ardahan, Muş, and Bingöl. Frost and fog are expected across the region. There is also a risk of avalanches on the steep and inclined slopes in the eastern parts of the region.

SOUTHEAST ANATOLIA
Partly cloudy and very cloudy, with rain and showers expected in the northern parts of Diyarbakır and Adıyaman. Frost, fog, and mist are expected in the northern areas of the region.
