Antalya Opera & Ballet Orchestra performs for ambassadors of 51 countries at Aspendos

As part of the “rediscover” event organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, a concert of “ Seven Tenors” was held at the world-famous Aspendos Antique Theatre for the ambassadors of 51 countries invited to Antalya.

The orchestra of Antalya Opera and ballet performed with the Tenors Hakan Aysev, Bülent Bezdüz, Murat Karahan, Efe Kışlalı, Hüseyin Likos, Şenol Tayınlı and Aydın Uştuk and was conducted by Antonio Pirolli.

The concert, which lasted for two scenes and 90 minutes, was organized as part of a program for the promotion of safe tourism services that Turkey will offer during the normalization process in the fight against the new type of Coronavirus outbreak.

The concert was attended by Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, the ambassadors of 51 countries invited to Antalya, many members of the international press and representatives of the tourism sector.

At the concert, a social distance rule of at least 1.5 meters was applied between the performers and participants in the orchestra. Some artists in the orchestra used masks, while some chose not to, due to the social distance rule. At the end of the concert, the audience gave the performers a standing ovation.
