Biontech CEO says beginning June could be the date to return to normal for the world
UGUR SAHIN, founder of Biontech who developed the first approved covid-19 vaccine worldwide, spoke to the German press, making very important statements about the epidemic and future developments expected.
SAHIN said by beginning of June Covid-19 cases and the number of casualties would be reduced to a permanent extent so that people could get back to normal life. Stating that taking Covid-19 under control did not mean that everything would be completely fixed, he expressed concern about the mutated corona virus.
He added that had not expected that the Covid-19 vaccine he developed would be so effective stressing that the Covid-19 vaccine would need to be repeated every two years, such as the flu vaccine.
