TÜİK Releases October Inflation Data

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has announced the inflation figures for October. Consumer prices rose by 2.55% on a monthly basis, while annual inflation was recorded at 32.87%. These figures also determine the rate at which residential and commercial rents can be increased in November.

November Rent Increase Rate Set at 37.15%

Following the release of the inflation data, the official rent adjustment rate for November 2025 has been calculated at 37.15%. This percentage represents the maximum rate landlords can legally apply to rent contracts during the month.

Example Calculation

For instance, if a tenant currently pays a monthly rent of 30,000 TL, a 37.15% increase would add 11,145 TL, bringing the new monthly rent to 41,145 TL.

How Is the Rent Increase Rate Calculated?

The monthly rent increase is determined based on the twelve-month average of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) announced by TÜİK. This system ensures rent adjustments align with inflation trends, protecting both landlords and tenants from sudden market fluctuations.
