Ministry of Treasury and Finance announces “New steps will be announced this evening”

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance has shared following important message: “New steps to be taken regarding the economy will be shared with the public starting this evening. Quick and solution-oriented steps will be taken. We will successfully get through the difficult process.”

In a written statement shared on Twitter the ministry stressed that Turkey is one of the few major economies in the world and continues to grow on strong foundations based on the principles of a free market economy.

The statement ended as follows:

“We have not diminished our faith for one day that our citizens will continue their efforts for the future of our country, our nation and our children instead of taking into consideration these malicious catastrophic violations.

In this context, our economic management will continue to take steps regarding some economics topics on our agenda including inflation and exchange rates in the first place and a series of fast and solution-oriented steps to be taken will be shared with the relevant authorities and the public by the ministry this evening.”
