Biontech officials announce distribution of corona virus vaccine has already started

Flash revelations about the covid-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech and considered to be a great hope against the corona virus outbreak were shared by company officials.

The announcement was shared by Dr. OZLEM TURECI who is the head of the CMO Health Department and also among company’s senior managers. TURECI who runs the company together with Professor Uğur Şahin, said: “We have started the process of distributing the corona virus vaccine. We expect the vaccine to be distributed in the UK in the coming days.”

TURECI also shared following, “We have applied for a conditional marketing permit with the approval of the United Kingdom” as reported by Reuters. She said, “We expect decisions from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the British Medicines Agency to come out in mid-December.”

On the other hand, Sean Marett, Chief Financial Officer of BioNTech, said: “We have made agreements with more than 10 countries, and we are continuing to negotiate with many countries. We have done deals with Canada, Singapore, the EU, Japan, the US and the UK.”
