“Call from Bahçeli for Gaza: If weapons do not fall silent within 24 hours Turkey should “intervene”

The Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, said if Israel’s attacks on Palestine did not cease within 24 hours, Turkey should “intervene promptly.” He went on to say, “protecting and safeguarding Gaza is the legacy of our ancestors.”

Devlet Bahçeli, the Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), made statements on the ongoing conflicts between Israel and Palestine on the social media platform X. He shared his opinion as follows: “Turkey should intervene and do whatever is necessary, if the weapons do not fall silent within 24 hours. It is well known to everyone with an unhardened heart that our President is engaged in appreciable dialogues for the establishment of a just and lasting peace environment and is conducting sincere diplomatic contacts.

“GUARANTEE SUGGESTION IS EXTREMELY WISE”

“The manifestation of the will for a two-state solution immediately with the construction of a ceasefire regime; in this way, the only way out of the current darkness is the recognition of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state with its capital in East Jerusalem, within the 1967 borders. Turkey’s offer of guarantee for the resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian deadlock is also an extremely rational, accurate, and strategic initiative.”

Protecting and safeguarding Gaza is the legacy of our ancestors.”
