Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI responsible for developing the artificial intelligence application ChatGPT, is set to leave his position and join Microsoft. The departure of Sam Altman from his role as the CEO of ChatGPT was announced two days ago. His departure came after a review process conducted by the board of directors.

The board’s statement mentioned, “The board no longer has confidence in Altman’s ability to continue leading OpenAI.” Altman is now making a move to Microsoft.

According to Reuters, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella confirmed that Altman would be joining Microsoft. According to Nadella’s statement, Altman will be leading Microsoft’s artificial intelligence team.

Nadella also announced that Greg Brockman, one of the founders of OpenAI, would also be joining Microsoft.
