The most familiar region for Chinese tourists in Turkey is Cappadocia. In 2019, the year of records before the pandemic, close to 500 thousand Chinese tourists visited Turkey. Especially Chinese tourists, who are known for visiting areas that stand out with their historical and cultural values, also have a higher spending capacity than many foreign tourists.
