Chinese state company announces phase 3 for corona virus vaccine has started

A statement came about the covid-19 vaccine developed by Sinopharm which is owned by the Chinese state. Production of the vaccine which Chinese Authorities have developed in Abu Dhabi, has been put into Phase 3.

Trials on humans have been successful in the ongoing vaccine development process in the United Arab Emirates. Chinese authorities had previously announced that more than 1,000 employees at Sinopharm had voluntarily tried the vaccine and that the vaccine was both safe and effective. The company announced successful results in the first two phases of the vaccine, while stressing that antibodies were produced in all of the volunteers within 28 days.

Chinese authorities had begun developing the vaccine along with Abu Dhabi-based artificial intelligence and cloud computing company Group 42 and the Abu Dhabi Ministry of Health. The company announced that the final phase would take 3 to 6 months, while trials would be conducted on volunteers aged between 19 and 60, living in Abu Dhabi and Al Ayn cities in the United Arab Emirates.
