A total of 36 thousand 187 people lost their lives in the provinces of Kahramanmaras, Gaziantep, Sanliurfa, Diyarbakir, Adana, Adiyaman, Osmaniye, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya and Elazig, AFAD said in a statement.

In the statement made by AFAD, it was emphasized that 4 thousand 323 aftershocks occurred after the earthquake.
