Demand for Antalya holidays increase by 480 percent

It is reported that the demand for holidays from Germany to Antalya has increased by 480 percent. Founder of a foreign tour company said that flights to some destinations had exceeded hotel bed capacities. August July and August periods may be short of capacity in some destinations for this reason, the founder said.

“Passenger capacity exceeded hotel capacity”

The founder pointed out that hotels that had laid off their staff after the pandemic are having difficulty finding staff to work in the summer season. He went on to say, “In summer that is July and August, the passenger capacity will exceed the hotel bed capacity.”

“We will leave 2019 behind in 8 months of 2022”

The founder reported that they would surpass the 2019 figures in the 8-month period of 2022. “By 2019, our number of guests has increased by 43 percent and our revenues by 81 percent” he added.

Antalya enjoys huge holiday demand!

The founder who also made an assessment of the performance of destinations in the German market, said that the largest increase compared to 2019 was experienced in Turkey (Antalya) with 480 percent, followed by Majorca with 140 percent and Greece with 74 percent.
