Didim, Turkey’s prominent tourism destination is on radar of tourism investors

Didim, one of the leading tourism regions of Turkey, is on the radar of major tourism groups. It is stated that the amount of investment made / will be made by four major groups to Didim is 400 million euros.

Professionals in the sector say following about the issue: “Didim is located in the middle of two airports. It is possible to provide transportation to the region from Izmir and Bodrum airports in a short time. Another driving force for investors to invest in the region is the cultural and historical richness of Didim. The region allows tourism for 12 months. New investment projects in Didim has also created great excitement among the people of the region. These investments will be a new break in Turkish tourism. The sector is creating a new location where the names in the world’s billionaires league can have a vacation in Turkey”

Within this framework, Turkey’s well-established tourism companies are investing in Didim one after another. It was noted that Barut Hotels had implemented the Anda Barut Collection & BAYOU project with an investment of 140 million euros, and Özak Global will build a tourism facility with an investment of 150 million euros in Didim. In addition, the DUJA Hotels ANEX Group has also purchased one hotel in Didim.

Another professional in the sector said following in regards: “Didim is such a place with both culture and nature. We and our investments have also started to pay attention to this. We have reached the project stage now. We will also give the start soon. Our investment in Didim will be in a way that will carry Turkish tourism to the top league”
