Downpour warning for Marmara from Meteorology
Local strong thunderstorms are expected in the Marmara Region tomorrow. According to the General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that thunderstorms are expected in the Marmara Region tomorrow and Istanbul, Tekirdağ, Kırklareli, Çanakkale, Balıkesir, Bursa, Bilecik, Yalova, Kocaeli and Sakarya and south of Edirne starting from morning hours.
It is expected that the heavy rains will lose their effect in the evening in the west of the region, in the northern and eastern parts at night.
The authority has warned it is necessary to be careful against sudden flooding, flooding, lightning, toppling of trees or poles and disruptions in transportation.
