Earthquake in Turkey: Free tickets for earthquake victims from THY and Pegasus

THY and Pegasus will offer one-way exit tickets to earthquake victims in 10 provinces for free until February 13. Turkish Airlines and Pegasus have opened direct flights from Adana, Elazig, Kayseri, Malatya, Kahramanmaras, Gaziantep and Sanliurfa for free one-way flights for earthquake victims until February 13. The right to change and cancel tickets has been expanded.

While Turkish Airlines carried 11,780 volunteers wishing to participate in search and rescue operations to the earthquake zone on 80 flights, tents, medical supplies, search and rescue tools, generators, clothing material, fire vehicles were taken to the region via 18 cargo planes.

Pegasus Airlines made a statement saying ’We continue to open our additional flights for our guests and rescue teams”.

SunExpress operated 9 flights the previous day in coordination with official institutions in order to deliver search-rescue and medical teams to the earthquake zone as soon as possible and continues special flights today. In addition, it continues to provide free domestic cargo service in order to deliver the aid received through all official authorized organizations, especially AFAD, to the earthquake zone.
