Earthquake in Turkey: Loss of life in earthquakes increases to 35 thousand 418

On February 6, two earthquakes occurred in Kahramanmaraş, the first with a magnitude of 7.7 and the second with a magnitude of 7.6. The earthquakes, whose epicenters were determined as PAZARCIK and Elbistan, also shook Hatay, Gaziantep, Osmaniye, Malatya, Adana, Diyarbakir, Sanliurfa, Adiyaman and Kilis.
President Erdogan held a cabinet meeting at the AFAD center. The president made important statements after said meeting.
Speaking after the cabinet meeting held at the AFAD center, President Tayyip Erdogan reported that 35,418 people had lost their lives in the earthquakes as of 20:11.
