Election in Turkey: KONDA Research Company says Erdogan is likely to lose

KONDA Research General Manager Aydın Erdem said about the elections, “President Erdogan is likely to lose. However, from the opposition’s point of view, however it is not a bird in the hand situation”

Erdem noted that there might be an exaggeration in the current measurements about Muharrem Ince, the presidential candidate supposed to get votes from opposition bloc adding “Ince does not seem to be a figure who will leave the election to the second round.”

The director of KONDA stated that the decision of the Workers‘ Party of Turkey (TIP) to enter the elections with its own list was a ’big risk’ and said, ‘They should have waited for the next elections’.

THERE IS AN ATMOSPHERE OF CHANGE IN THE COUNTRY

Erdem stated that he saw an atmosphere of change in Turkey. He said “On the other hand however, from the point of view of the opposition, elections are not a bird in the hand.”

He also went to share the following: “It seems that the government may lose the election. You can understand some things not only from surveys, but also from the social atmosphere. Of course, it’s not a matter of what is being talked about on social media. This is something that you feel. This is reflected in the language of the newsmen on television, the script in the series, even in the commercials. I think there is such an atmosphere in society.”
